A very proud moment for HG Living and HG Construction as we handed over 238 Kennington Lane to Home – International Students House – three months ahead of schedule.
We celebrated the milestone with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony attended by our project partners, members of the ISH Assembly and Board, and Lambeth Councillor Issa Issa. It was a fitting way to recognise the collaboration, commitment and shared vision that were instrumental in bringing this development to life.
From the outset, this project was shaped by a belief that international students deserve more than accommodation – they deserve a home from home, where they feel safe, supported, and connected. Every aspect of the building reflects that purpose, from social spaces designed to spark interaction to environments that promote wellbeing and celebrate cultural diversity.
With the handover complete, the building now begins its next chapter as a vibrant community. We’re confident it will become a place where friendships grow, cultures are shared, and lifelong memories take shape.
