Through our open and honest approach to communication with stakeholders, HG Living has successfully facilitated a previously undeliverable development.
Recognising the strategic and financial value of a private roadway through the middle of the development site, we secured an agreement with neighbouring stakeholder Strode’s College and The Foundation Trust to temporarily close and instate a brand new access route to the rear of the College.
The project is our third joint venture with Singapore based real estate investment fund – Q Investment Partners (QIP), testament to our strong track record of delivering risk adjusted returns through our expert development management capabilities and guaranteed construction delivery from HG Construction. Through rationalisation of the previously granted planning permission, HG Living has added an additional 4 units to the development within the same approved building envelope.
The property will open for the autumn term 2022 and will be operated under Homes for Students’ ‘Prestige Student Living’ brand on behalf of our joint venture. Senior development finance was provided by Secure Trust Bank extending our excellent working relationship with their lending team.
